1. Purpose of the Policy
The purpose of this Policy is to record the data protection and data management principles applied by Benergo Ergonomics Kft. and the Company's data protection and data management policy. Benergo Ergonomics Kft. may carry out mail order activities within the framework of the law. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that in all areas of the services provided by the Service Provider, for every individual, regardless of nationality or residence, their rights and fundamental freedoms, especially the right to privacy, are respected during the automated processing of their personal data (data protection).

3.1. Registration and ordering. During registration and/or ordering, the User is required to provide the following personal data: their own email address, billing address (billing name, contact person's name, street name, house number, city, postal code), shipping address (shipping name, street name, house number, city, postal code), phone number
3.2. Data technically recorded during the operation of the system: data of the user's logging-in computer generated during the use of the service and recorded by the data controller's system as an automatic result of technical processes. The automatically recorded data is logged by the system automatically at login and logout without the user's separate declaration or action. These data cannot be linked with other personal user data – except in cases mandated by law. Only the data controller has access to the data.
3.3. During visits to the website, one or more cookies – that is, small files containing a string of characters – are sent to the visitor's computer, through which their browser can be uniquely identified. These cookies are provided by Google and are used through the Google Analytics system. These cookies are only sent to the visitor's computer when certain subpages are visited, so they only store the fact and time of visiting the given subpage, and no other information. The purpose of using these cookies is to track the traffic of our websites. Visitors can disable the acceptance of cookies in their own web browser.

4. Legal basis, purpose, and method of data processing
4.1. Data processing takes place based on the voluntary, properly informed declaration of users of the internet content found on the www.benergo.com website (hereinafter: Website), which declaration includes the users' explicit consent to the use of their personal data provided during the use of the site. The legal basis for data processing is the voluntary consent of the data subject according to Section 5 (1) a) of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information (Infotv.). The User gives consent for each data processing by using the Website, registering, or voluntarily providing the respective data.
4.2. The purpose of data processing is to ensure the provision of services available on the Website. The Service Provider stores the data provided by the user for a specific purpose, solely to fulfill the order and to later prove the conditions of any contract that may be concluded.
4.3. The purpose of automatically recorded data is to create statistics, develop the IT system technically, and protect users' rights.
4.4. The data controller does not and may not use the provided personal data for purposes other than those described in these points. The disclosure of the provided personal data to third parties or authorities, other than the courier service delivering the current order – unless otherwise mandated by law – is only possible with the user's prior, explicit consent.
4.5. The data controller does not verify the personal data provided to it. The person providing the data is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data given. When any User provides an email address, they also take responsibility that only they use the service from the given email address. In view of this responsibility, all liability related to logins made with a given email address lies solely with the user who registered the email address.
5. Duration of data processing5.1. The processing of personal data that is mandatory during registration begins with the registration and lasts until its deletion. In the case of non-mandatory data, data processing lasts from the time the data is provided until the deletion of the respective data. The deletion of the registration by the User, as well as by the Service Provider, can occur at any time, in the cases and manner specified in the General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC).
5.2. The system stores the logged data – except for the date of the last visit, which is automatically overwritten – for 6 months from the time of logging.
5.3. The above provisions do not affect the fulfillment of retention obligations defined by law (e.g., accounting laws) or data processing based on additional consents given during registration on the Website or otherwise.
6. Persons authorized to access data, data transfer, data processing6.1. Primarily, the data may be accessed by the Service Provider, the Service Provider's internal staff, and the courier service delivering the current order; however, they do not disclose it or transfer it to third parties.
6.2. In operating the underlying IT system, fulfilling orders, and settling accounts, the Service Provider may use data processors (e.g., system operators, transport companies, accountants). The Service Provider is not responsible for the data processing practices of such external parties. Names of data processors:

6.3. Beyond the above, personal data concerning the User may only be transferred in cases strictly required by law or based on the User's consent.
7. User rights and enforcement options7.1. The User is entitled at any time to request information about the personal data processed by the Service Provider concerning them and may modify such data at any time in the manner specified in the GTC. The User is also entitled to request the deletion of their data through the contact details provided in this section.
7.2. Upon the User's request, the Service Provider provides information about the data it processes concerning the User, the purpose, legal basis, and duration of the data processing, as well as who and for what purpose has received or will receive the data. The Service Provider provides the requested information in writing within 30 days of receiving the request.

The Client may contact the Service Provider's staff with any questions or comments related to data management through the contact details provided in section 7.3.
7.4. The user is entitled at any time to request the correction of incorrectly recorded data or their deletion. The user can correct some of their data on the Website themselves; in other cases, the Service Provider will delete the data within 3 working days from the receipt of the request, in which case the data will not be recoverable. Deletion does not apply to data processing required by law (e.g., accounting regulations), which the Service Provider retains for the necessary period.
7.5. The User may enforce their rights before a court based on the Infotv. and the Civil Code (Act IV of 1959), and may also turn to the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) (1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/C) in case of complaints regarding the data controller's data management practices.
7.6. If the User provided third-party data during registration for service use or caused any damage in any way while using the Website, the Service Provider is entitled to enforce compensation claims against the User. In such cases, the Service Provider will provide all possible assistance to the authorities to identify the identity of the infringing person.
8. Use of email addresses8.1. The Service Provider pays special attention to the lawful use of the electronic mail addresses it manages, and uses them only in the manner defined below (informational or advertising) for sending emails.
8.2. The management of email addresses primarily serves to identify the User, fulfill orders, and maintain contact during the use of services, thus emails are sent mainly for these purposes.
8.3. In case of changes to the services provided by the Service Provider or the GTC, information about the changes and other similar services of the Service Provider may be sent electronically, by email, to the affected parties in certain cases. It is not possible to unsubscribe from this "notification list," but the Service Provider does not use these notifications for advertising purposes.
8.4. The Service Provider sends advertising or promotional emails (newsletters) to the email addresses provided during registration only with the User's explicit consent, and in cases and ways compliant with legal regulations. The User can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of the newsletter.
9. Other provisions9.1. The Service Provider's system may collect data about users' activity, which cannot be linked to other data provided by users during registration or data generated when using other websites or services.
9.2. In all cases where the Service Provider intends to use the provided data for a purpose other than the original data collection purpose, it shall inform the user about this and obtain the user's prior, explicit consent, or provide the user with the opportunity to prohibit such use.
9.3. The Provider commits to ensuring data security and will take technical measures to ensure that the collected, stored, and managed data are protected, and will do everything possible to prevent their destruction, unauthorized use, and unauthorized alteration. The Provider also commits to requiring all third parties to whom data may be transmitted or handed over to fulfill these obligations.
9.4. The Provider reserves the right to unilaterally modify this Policy with prior notice to the User. After the modification takes effect, the User accepts the terms of the modified Policy by using the service, implying consent.
10. Cookie PolicyCookies are necessary to improve the services used by visitors on our site. Some of the Cookies we use are essential for the operation of certain services, some collect information and statistics about website usage to make browsing more convenient.
